Mondays with Jenni 8-9:20 a.m.

Wednesdays with Paul 8:30 – 9:55 a.m. (men) & 10-11:30 a.m. (mixed).

We also offer individually arranged private and semi-private sessions.

Our small private classes are intimate and personal, devoted to YOU and to a small consistent group who want to deepen practice and understanding of body, mind, spirit. The small, tight-knit format allows for a lot of personal attention in a setting where we’re free to focus on what we truly need/desire.

What we do

When asked what type of yoga we teach, we like to say, “yoga for life.” Philosophically we strive to look for the good in all people and all things. We see Yoga as a means of connecting ourselves with our highest potential to live life mindfully, compassionately and with heart. While we respect the many systems of yoga we have studied and practiced, we focus primarily on the student–who you are, where you are in your life, what you need.

From there we focus on awareness of habit patterns, strength and proper movement mechanics. Physically we value working efficiently in correct alignment, breathing fully, resting sufficiently and enjoying the process as hallmarks of intelligent yoga practice. We believe flexibility comes from balanced strength.

In group classes and private sessions, we explore and create postures that require balancing, rotational action and extension to help us build a stronger foundation and core. We often use a variety of tools including balls, foam rollers, bands, poles, sticks, massagers, anything that can engage the full body functionally, help stimulate circulation and release and mobilize connective tissue.

Our yoga continues to evolve as we search for what keeps us healthy, strong, athletic, centered and at peace with ourselves, hence, Evolutionary Yoga. Students of all levels of ability and yoga experience are welcome and honored for their unique differences, limitations and talents.

We are grateful for and bring to our teaching our eclectic background and we are grateful to many master teachers with whom we have studied. And our best teachers are our always evolving practice, and you, our students.

We look forward to connecting with you!
